The arena looks good although the transport to get to here, being Sunday in Easter, it’s been difficult. Like yesteday, the VIP stand looks empty.

Ksenia Semyonova – the new European AA champion starts the beam final. Sandra Izbasa – the favourite before the starting of Championships. She seems to struggle to find motivation to continue in gymnastics. Full in piked, full in tuck (stuck), triple spin (unbalance), 1/1 split leap, cat leap, 2 ½ – 1/1, 3/1 (crossed legs and underrotated nearly oob).  13.900 (D: 4.9 , E: 9.000). Forminte is at the head jury.
Ana Maria Izurieta – full in, 3/1, triple spin (unbalanced), whip whip trhough 2 ½ (big step forward), spin with leg at horizontal, double back. 14.075 (D: 5.4, E: 8.675)
Valentyna Holenkova – full in tucked, double back, switch ring leap, 1 ½ turn with leg to head, 1 ½ – layout, double pike off, 1/1 split jump. 13.925 (D: 5.1 , E: 8.825 )
Lia Parolari – double spin with leg at horizontal, double spin with leg to head, double pike (low), whip through 2/1, leaps passage, front 2/1, double spin. Good expression but weak tumbling. 13.525 (D: 4.8, E: 8.725). Crowd boo, but it’s a fair score.
Elizabeth Tweddle – 1 ½ through double arabian front (hop), double arabian piked (stuck), dance leaps passage, ½ spin, 2 ½ – 1/1. Great. 15.150 (D: 6.0, E: 9.150) to the lead over a point.
Ksenia Semyonova – full in piked (stuck), 2 ½ – barani, a good dancer and interpreter, double spin in attitude, 1 ½ – 1/1, double pike. Beautiful! 14.625 (D: 5.4, E: 9.225) into second, and the audience boo in disagreement.
Vanessa Ferrari – full in (hop back), 1 ½ – 1/1, 1/1 split jump, double back, switch ring leap, spin, double pike (hop back). I expect fairness. 14.675 (D: 5.4 , E: 9.275) … No comment.

MAG High Bar
